Hair Spray Extra Firm 250g

I was startled to buy my usual Cedal hairspray, only to be told it's out of stock. But when I rang Cedal, they were only too happy to send me 2 cans of my hairspray till it was back in stock at my local supermarket. So I'm more than thrilled

What has happened to this product? It is now made in China and the perfume is very toxic! The first time I sprayed from a brand new "made in china" can on my hair I had an immediation reaction to the chemical smell ? perfume... and had a migrane and was VERY unwell for days. I had to wash my hair and clothing and scrub my bathroom, the stench of chemicals was horrendous.
Lucky for me I had two old "made in Australia" cans and took photos and the ingredients are very different. In the photo, the can on left with black writing is quite old, can in middle, just finished, and the can on right is the new made in China one. A friend and I have scoured many shops for "made in Australia" Cedal hairspray and managed to buy a few, but I only have one left now.
It is sad really as I have used Cedal hair spray since the 1960's and no other hair spray compares to this product for me. It brushes out has a mild perfume and lasts all day.
Another hair care product company in Qld moved production to China and went broke.
Is Cedal another great brand being destroyed by moving to China.

SO SAD. Have been using this product faithfully since the 1960's. I kept using it as it brushed out and left no residue- now it's made in China it's been turned into crap full of toxic ingredients. Leaves hair tacky - so its USELESS!!
